the Danish do it well...

I have been doing some research for work on Danish modern interiors... and, I think I am falling in love. I don't know if I could be surrounded by this aesthetic all the time in a home environment, some of it is a tad cold for my taste, but it sure is beautiful to look at. I think pulling bits & pieces and adding them here & there can be lovely... but as far as a retail environment, though, I love it. It is a clean enough to merchandise on top of, but not to utilitarian that you don't feel comfortable moving around & shopping the space. I love the palette, the rich, different textures, and the calming feeling it evokes. Heck, maybe I'll move to Sweden.... or maybe I'll just stare at these pictures & drool some more.
