Dallas is not short on some amazing buildings, but these... I still look at the Wyly almost daily & think “This is in Dallas?” The Winspear’s rich red curved glass is breathtaking. This morning a Dedication Ceremony kicks off a week long celebration of the Center’s Grand Opening which will wrap up at the end of the week with the last big gala all throughout the Center (ACT III) and a full day of public festivities on Sunday. Look at the schedule here...there are architectural forums and the David Sanborn concert on Friday and anything on Sunday looks free and fun! CHECK OUT THE SCHEDULE HERE.

OMG. I love that you posted this. I have been looking forward to the opening for 2 years.
I was somehow lucky enough to get tickets to the opening Gala on saturday night (styled by neiman's yes?) It was so beautiful. Excited for ALL of the Art these houses will bring.
Also thought that I would like a pair of Louboutin patent leather heels in the color of the Winspear. Beauty.
