
John Hughes, who pretty much made the 80's worthwhile by directing "Home Alone," "The Breakfast Club," "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," "Sixteen Candles," "National Lampoon's Vacation," "Pretty in Pink," "Planes, Trains & Automobiles" and "Uncle Buck," passed away this morning. I think there is no doubt in my mind that we all owe this creative genious a moment of silence...
